Malenda's parents wanted her to delay daycare until she was 6 months old. Mom Marci went back to work when she was 4 months old, so the two grandmothers volunteered to help out for the 2 month interim. Janice took the month of January while I was in Montana, and I took the month of February.

At the end of the month, not only was Malenda 6 months old, but she became legally a member of our family! Parents and both sets of grandparents could not wipe the smiles off our faces as the judge declared that she was officially our child and grandchild! Malenda couldn't resist checking out everything on the judge's desk. Wonder what this portends for her future?
